PROMOTIONAL DRAWING RULES AND PROCEDURES

Name of Drawing or Promotion: 2018 Escape to San Antonio

Type of Drawing or Promotion: Promotional Drawing (Section 4.10)

Purpose of the Drawing or Promotion:

To bring added value, more excitement, and to keep members of the NMLA VIP Club engaged in the Points and Rewards Promotion.

Method:

  • One (1) Drawing will be conducted.
    1. One (1) entry will be selected to win a Trip Package for two (2) to San Antonio, Texas. The Trip Package is valued at approximately three thousand dollars ($3,000).
    2. Ten (10) alternates will be selected.

Entry Period and Entry Deadline:

Entry period begins Sunday, April 1, 2018, at 12:00:00 AM MT.

Entry deadline is Thursday, May 31, 2018 at 11:59:59 PM MT.

Entry eligibility will be determined by the Points and Rewards Promotion Time/Date Stamp.

Date and Time of the Drawing: Wednesday, June 6, 2018 after 10:00:00 AM (MT).

Eligibility Requirements:

  1. New Mexico Lottery VIP Club Members who enter eligible non-winning one dollar ($1), two dollar ($2), and three dollar ($3) NMLA SCRATCHER tickets and eligible winning or non-winning Roadrunner Cash or Pick 3 tickets in the New Mexico Lottery Points and Rewards Promotion will receive one (1) trip entry for each entry submitted during the promotion period.
  2. Players that are not members of the New Mexico Lottery VIP Club may join at no cost at nmlottery.com.
  3. Players must enter at nmlottery.com through the Points and Rewards Promotion Tab, “2018 Escape to San Antonio”.
  4. The selected VIP Club Member (See Eligibility Requirements #1) must submit a completed NMLA Claim Form to the NMLA for verification within five (5) business days from the date of notification.

Prize Details (Trip Package):

  1. Five (5) day and four (4) night trip for two (2) to San Antonio, Texas.
  2. Two (2) San Antonio GOcard San Antonio Explorer Passes with 5 Choices (1 premium plus 4 more).
  3. Two (2) round-trip airline tickets (seats) from the major airport closest to the winner’s residence to San Antonio, TX.
  4. Accommodations for two (2) (double occupancy) at a San Antonio, TX hotel for four (4) nights.
  5. In the event transportation is not provided by the hotel, round trip transportation to and from the hotel and airport will be included.
  6. The trip must be taken between July 15, 2018 and November 30, 2018.
  7. The winner will receive five hundred dollars ($500) in spending money.

Drawing Procedures:

  1. The administrator of the Points and Rewards Promotion (Scientific Games) will provide NMLA Security with a spreadsheet, posted on the SFTP site, that contains the entire list of entries submitted for the entry period.
  2. The pre-approved NMLA Promotional Drawing Procedures will be utilized for the drawing.
  3. The NMLA Security Drawing Representative will conduct one (1) drawing, using a random number generator to select one (1) Trip Package winner.
  4. Ten (10) alternates will be selected.
  5. The NMLA Internal Auditor may witness the drawing.

Selected ENTRY Notification:

  1. The NMLA EVP for Security will forward the information of the selected VIP Club Member's entry to the NMLA Director of Gaming Products, Director of Sales, and Director of Marketing & Advertising by 3:00:00 PM (MT) the day of the drawing. The selected VIP Club Member will be notified using their Points and Rewards email address on file and the NMLA will attempt to notify the selected VIP Club Member by phone (if a phone number is available) in addition to the email.

    If the selected VIP Club Member does not return the completed NMLA Claim Form within five (5) business days from the date of notification, he/she will forfeit the prize and, the first alternate will be contacted and the same process will be followed.

  2. Within 24 hours of the selected VIP Club Member’s Claim Form being verified by the NMLA, KRQE Media Group (KRQE) will be provided the selected VIP Club Member’s name and contact information. KRQE will coordinate with the selected VIP Club Member to complete the KRQE Trip Package paperwork, including issuing the W-9. The KRQE Trip Package paperwork must be completed within ten (10) business days from the date of validation or the selected VIP Club Member will forfeit the prize and the first alternate will be contacted and the same process will be followed.

Miscellaneous:

  1. Exceptions or modifications to these rules must be approved in writing by the CEO and the Executive Vice President for Security.
  2. There is no cash value or substitutions for the Trip Package.
  3. It is the responsibility of the selected VIP Club Member to contact KRQE/Ronn Weese at 505-243-2285/ext. 5262 or by email @ ronn.weese@krqe.com with the names and birth dates of both persons traveling (TSA requires the same name that is on the New Mexico Driver’s License or picture ID be on the airfare ticket.).
  4. Trip reservations must be finalized with KRQE a minimum of thirty (30) days prior to the date of travel. The person taking the Trip Package is responsible for any additional expenses, if any, if changes are made to these dates after booking.
  5. The Trip Package is non-transferable after KRQE has booked the Trip Package reservations.
  6. The Trip Package does NOT include any additional ground transportation, gratuity, meals, or other amenities.
  7. The person taking the Trip Package must present his/her credit card at the hotel to cover any incidental expenses.
  8. KRQE will issue and mail a Form 1099 to the VIP Club member who submitted the NMLA Claim Form for verification.
  9. The Lottery reserves the right to assign a designee(s) to perform the responsibilities of parties specifically assigned duties within these Rules and Procedures.
